What is PermaFinish?
Most important, PermaFinish is NOT a wax or coating!
It is a ONE-TIME state of the art chemical process application for protecting your new car finish and/or for restoring older paint finishes to "better than new"! The process involves professionally applying a proprietary chemical formula to the surface of the paint. This unique formula creates a reaction with the resins in the paint polymers causing it to bond with the paint and become a new type of super paint that is 30% harder, yet more flexible than before! This ultra shiny new surface is long lasting and impermeable, protected from the harmful solvents in acid rain, bird droppings, exhaust gases, etc and creates a surface that is more resistent to oxidation, scratches and chipping.
How does PermaFinish work?
After preparing the surface by removing all waxes and coatings and smoothing out imperfections in the surface, the proprietary chemicals are professionally applied to all painted surfaces of the vehicle. As the chemicals react with the polymers, the paint becomes softer and is professionally manipulated by a massaging technique which redistributes the paint over imperfections and creates an ultra smooth surface. The chemicals are left on the surface to allow the moleucular structure of the paint to permanently change. During this period, the paint becomes harder and undergoes an initial curing stage that takes place for the first 24 hours. Curing continues over the next 30 days until the surface is approximately 30% harder yet more flexible than before application.
